Every year it’s the same thing – the night before school starts we have DQ Blizzards for supper to celebrate the end of summer and sugar up before the first day of school. This year we had Calgary blizzards and spent a couple of hours together picking beans and potatoes from a dear parishioner’s garden and exploring Canada Olympic Park. Now we’re home and it’s time to load up the backpacks and get things ready for the very early departure to catch the bus for school. It’s a new adventure and we are praying the kids thrive at their new school.
