Because of some complicated school issues and me being in school full-time, Laurenne has been unable to feed her creative, dramatic side. This was to be the year that there was another play/musical in school – didn’t happen. For the last two years I have done a Christmas musical at the church. This year – didn’t happen. Laurenne has tried adding more dramatic presentation to some of her assignments, but it has not been met enthusiastically by some of her teachers. My girl has been frustrated! She  wants to go into acting and turns into a different creature when she is on stage and with no creative outlet this year, it’s been hard. So…

Derwyn and I decided to give her an outlet. We signed her up for a three-day intensive improvisation camp at The Second City. She LOVED it! She loved it so much that she is signed up for a fourteen-week Saturday program. We have one happy girl! Here are some pictures from the final performance she and her class did for the parents.
